If you are looking for a simple way to jazz up your average dinner roll, these are great! You use canned Pillsbury biscuits and then brush them with a mixture of spices and parmesan cheese. I found this recipe on Tasty Kitchen but the member has a great recipe blog as well called Real Mom Kitchen. I really enjoy her simple approach to recipes!
Ingredients:
1 can (12 ounces) Pillsbury Golden Layers Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits
1/4 cups Canola Oil
3 T. Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried parsley
Directions:
Roll each biscuit into a 12-inch rope and tie into a knot; tuck ends under. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; brush the warm knots with the mixture.
Makes 10 knots.
