I made these simple glazed carrots to serve with poppyseed chicken casserole. The honey, butter and brown sugar jazz up the cooked carrots, but of course take most of the nutritional value out of them.The sauce will make you want to eat your vegetables!
Ingredients:
1 pound baby carrots
1 1/2 T. butter
4 T. brown sugar
1 T. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Cook the carrots and drain. Combine butter, brown sugar, honey, and salt in a saucepan on low heat. Add cooked carrots and simmer until heated through. Stir gently.
